The AIMES Centre (Advanced Internet Methods and Emergent Systems) at the University of Liverpool is a pioneer in the transfer of e-science activity to e-business. AIMES promotes the creation and use of new business applications by exploiting the potential of next generation computer technology. Using new technologies, the Centre is helping companies to exploit new markets and optimise opertating efficiencies.
