Elevate East Lancashire is expecting to make savings of �1.5 million by adopting a new approach to procurement.

The housing market renewal pathfinder will work with Valueworks, a partner in the Fusion 21 procurement body, to cut the cost of buying construction materials.

Elevate will achieve the savings through approaches such as large-scale purchasing using long-term contracts and e-procurement technology.
